About TCGPrime

Last updated 11 August 2026

We sell sealed trading card boxes, cases and graded slabs — and the whole business rests on one sentence most of this category will not say out loud: nothing here is weighed, searched or resealed, and we would rather lose the sale than pretend otherwise.

The gap we exist to fill

There are two places to buy a hobby box and nothing good in between them.

On one side is the big-box shelf. What is left on it has been in front of a thousand people, some of whom brought a scale. The pegs are picked over, the hot releases never make it to the floor, and the box you can actually buy is the one nobody else wanted.

On the other side is the marketplace listing from an account with a stock photo and eleven feedback. The price is good. It is good for a reason you will not discover until the box is open and the case hit is not in it, at which point you have no case, no recourse and no way to prove anything.

TCGPrime is the counter in between. Sealed product bought by the case, stored properly, photographed as it sits, and shipped the same day you order it.

What "sealed" actually means here, and why we say it first

Sealed should be a fact, not a marketing word, so here is what it means on this site specifically.

We do not weigh boxes. Weighing is how a searcher finds the heavier box — the one more likely to hold an autograph or a relic — pulls it, and sells you the rest. It leaves no mark. It is undetectable by the person who ends up with the box, which is exactly why it is worth writing down that we do not do it.

We do not open cases to break out single boxes at a premium. A case sold here is a case: every box inside it untouched, in the configuration the manufacturer sealed.

We do not resell returned product as new. If a sealed item comes back to us and the factory seal has been broken, it does not go back on the shelf at any price.

The seal guarantee. If anything arrives with a compromised factory seal, a crushed corner or a cracked slab, photograph it before you unpack anything further and email us within 48 hours with your order number. We replace it where we can and refund in full where we cannot, and we cover the return label either way. You do not need the receipt — the order is already in our system.

A guarantee is only worth the cost of honouring it, which is why it is also the most reliable thing we can tell you about how the product is stored and packed. Nobody underwrites the seal on a box they have been through.

Four things we will not do

It is easy to write a values page. It is more useful to write down the specific things we have decided not to do, because those are the ones you can check against the site itself.

  • We will not print a compare-at price we never charged. A struck-through number invented to make the real one look generous is a lie with a font size. There is not one on this site — every product ships with an empty compare-at field. If something is ever reduced, the figure we strike through will be a price we actually charged.
  • We will not crack, re-holder or re-submit a graded card. A slab ships in the holder the grader sealed it in. The cert number in the listing is the cert number you receive, and you can look it up with PSA, BGS or CGC before you buy.
  • We will not list what we do not hold. There are no backorders here and nothing is sourced to order. Every product on the site is on a shelf in West Palm Beach; when a line sells out it comes off sale rather than staying buyable with a ship date we would have to invent later.
  • We will not guess at a hit rate. Where a product page quotes cards per pack, packs per box, autographs per case or a release date, that comes from the manufacturer's own configuration for that product. Where we do not know a number, the page does not have one.

How we choose what to stock

We are not trying to carry everything. The catalogue is built around sealed hobby configurations — the version made for collectors, with the hit rates and parallels the retail version does not have — across football, baseball, basketball, soccer, hockey, racing and Pokémon, plus graded slabs at the top end.

What earns a place is either sustained demand for the line or genuine scarcity at the high end. What does not earn a place is a deep discount on something nobody is looking for, which is how most storefronts end up with a warehouse full of a product that was cheap for a reason.

The unglamorous part

Everything ships from our unit in West Palm Beach, packed by hand. Sealed boxes go out double-boxed with the product suspended off the walls of the outer carton, because the single most common way a box arrives "damaged" is having spent four days with one corner against cardboard. Graded slabs ship in a sleeve inside a form-fit box inside an outer carton. Full cases go freight-ground on a pallet-grade carton with signature confirmation.

Orders placed before 3:00 pm ET on a business day go out the same business day. After that they leave the next one. Most US addresses see the parcel in 2–5 business days; cases take longer and we email the estimate before it leaves. Shipping is free over $199 and tracked either way, anything over $500 requires a signature, and the tracking number is emailed the moment the label prints rather than the following morning.

Returns run 30 days from delivery on unopened sealed product, in the packaging it arrived in, and we refund to the original payment method within five business days of the parcel reaching us. Opened sealed product cannot come back — once a box is open there is no way for anyone, us included, to prove what was in it, and a store that accepts those returns is a store paying for other people's rips. That is the one rule we will not bend, and it is on this page rather than in the small print for that reason.

Who you are actually emailing

A small team, in one building, answering our own messages. No ticket queue, no autoresponder that closes your case after 72 hours of silence, no offshore script that apologises four times and resolves nothing.

Email support@tcgprime.store and you will hear back within one business day, usually within an hour during office hours. If you would rather talk, the number is (971) 477-9538, Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ET.

On a four-figure box, ask first. We will photograph the actual carton, confirm the case it came out of, and hold high-value sealed product for 24 hours while you decide. We would much rather answer a question than process a return.

If we get something wrong — the wrong box, a crushed corner, a slab that arrives cracked — tell us and we will fix it. That is not a slogan. It is cheaper than the alternative, and it is the only reason anybody buys a second box from the same shop.
